Description
This episode took longer than planned, partly because of small emergencies and partly because I've been playing around with fonts and effects.
Credits: Video: FumeiRaws TL: Muse Asia Editing and typesetting: Me, aka flappa or [argo]
Notes:
- New styles have been created for the OP, ED, and inserts; each band will have its own set. They will eventually be added to older releases. My monitor is different from yours, but I've tried to keep them readable while adding a hint of something extra. Some fonts looked great but were, alas, illegible. Subject to change.
- Song lyrics can have odd grammar, especially translated from Japanese, but I tried making sense of them within the constraints of the original line order.
- I occasionally move lines around to avoid overlapping credits.
- I translated a refrain in the OP, "We're not destined to give up yet, are we?" as "We're not destined to fade away yet, are we?" instead. Think about the song's imagery: stars in the galaxy don't give up; they fade away. In the context of a band, giving up is the same as choosing to fade away. So I felt this was appropriate and more interesting than the vanilla translation.
- I'm now color-coding overlap text (simultaneous lines from different people), e.g., Banri's text has a yellow outline and Ren's has a blue outline.
- Boss makes a joke about eco-friendly backpacks in the original dialogue. I've substituted different but similar dad humor to get the point across.
- I only include "eh", "huh", "mmm", "yeah" etc. in the subtitles if I feel it adds to connected dialogue.

It's funny you say that because I hated the official release being hardsubbed. These are softsubs.
Good release, hope to see starting episodes too :)
Since I have some downtime between new episodes, that's my plan.
Hardsub or softsub?
