Thx Scyrous
Thanks you both
Thanks a lot!
Thanks to Scyrous for the encodes.

Nice
Daily reminder to run qaac with --no-delay and to update your x264 binary. kMod is pretty much useless and unmaintained for nearly 3 years now.
tfw torn actually uses an updated x264 but didn't encode this
thx torn
Absolutely nothing wrong with kmod. So what if it hasn't been updated in 3 years. Not like there has been anything drastic changed with x264 in that time that would magically improve transparency of the encode.
@Ken-Sama I tend to stick with kmod because I have no use for most of the newer patches introduced in builds like tmod. There's virtually no difference in quality from all the testing I've done, so I don't really see a reason to use tmod unless I need a specific patch that isn't in kmod. I also remember 720p 4:4:4 encoding being broken last time I tried (couldn't open the video in aegisub - it would turn out corrupted, despite MPC/MPV showing no problems) whereas encoding with kmod worked fine. I believe someone might have mentioned a fix for that on Discord, but I forgot what it was and I can't find it anymore. :P
Daily reminder to run qaac with--no-delay
I'm gonna assume that's aimed at someone else, because I did precisely that for these encodes. Or any of my past encodes for that matter. You can ignore the delay MediaInfo reports: it's incorrect.

No plans for 1080p?
@Tehe SCY will do 1080p.
Thanks! Just a question. Will the encoded ones look better than the BDMV?
@Tehe yes, since it's properly filtered by a very good encoder (@Scyrous) and at a much more reasonable file size.
What's the native res for the show
@MetalicBox 720p
couldn’t open the video in aegisub - it would turn out corrupted
that should be fixed now unless you're using a pretty old version of aegisub
SCY will do 1080p.

A properly descaled 1080p encode looks much better than a 720p encode during playback on screens bigger than 720p, especially so with 4K screens which are very common these days.
grazie waiting the vol 2
