This isn't Memory snow OVA though
@eksdieksdi That DDY release has to be the original Memory Snow OVA from 2018, not the director's cut that aired today, because it is a blu-ray rip and from 3 days ago.
Is there any major difference with memory snow tho ?
MS didn't looked that much of a canon OVA anyway, even if the events did happened they made them look so unserious that it feel wrong to connect them to the real Re Zero series
egozi44 - It's canon, based on short stories by the author. In fact, while the plot of this first OVA is not important, it does reveal a little more about the magic system and hints toward something for season 2. Not to mention, the second OVA is a continuation of this OVA and it IS important to the series, making this OVA effectively canon.
Looks like CR won't be subbing this episode (memory snow ova), hoping someone releases subs for this.
