Black Magic [Windows 95 PC / 1997] (ブラックマジック) 士郎正宗/SHIROW Masamune,

An obscure (and loose) adaptation of Masamune Shirow's manga/OVA. The game is a real-time squad strategy tactics game in which you control a squad of mechs that can be customized with weapons, stats, etc. You don't need to actually install anything, just go into the folders and click on the EXE if you extract the ISO (though the opening and ending might not play).

Unfortunately the game is very rough around the edges, and the enemy AI is plain stupid, but it's a curiosity nonetheless. It could do with a modern remake as a mod or another standalone game.
