To prepare for S2, they're reairing S1 in double length timeslots. That means that except for episode 1 (which was double length already), every other episode is a combination of 2 episodes of S1. Not only that, they'll be adding new scenes in some episodes. Stuff from the novels that didn't make it the first time and wasn't much relevant if S1 was all there was. But said stuff becomes much more needed for the content S2 will cover
