Amazon actually knows how to encode. Pretty much this.
Amazon encodings are smaller in general, but these are still averaging substantially smaller than the average Vinland 1080p. This show so far is very dialogue heavy with many scenes just relying on very basic mouth animations, so many frames become ideal for compression.

Choices like hardsubs vs. flaming gay font in your hardsub... also clearly superfluous to the magic of the release process.

Yeah, I totally agree with that mikurira, I was positively surprised how good Babylon is. A proper mystery/conspiracy anime is always welcome in these "isekai this, isekai that" times.
so we need to wait 3 weeks for ep4 now? reminds me of the GoT leaks when everyone was hyped first 3 eps got leaked early, just to realize how hard it sucks to wait 4 weeks till TV broadcast catches up...
