This is my release actually, I had always planned on making a v2 with some updates before uploading to nyaa but never got around to it.

If you're trying to choose between this version and Orange.Days.S01.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.DDP2.0.H.264-BlackLuster, definitely choose the latter. Avoid the RAINIE subtitles here as they are very awkward and riddled with mistranslations. In contrast, the WEB-DL translation is faithful to the original, consistently well-written, and grammatically accurate.

@Kawada_kun I spent a very long time on this release, more than I have on any other show. I bought the BDs, ripped them, learnt how to encode with vapoursynth with filtering, did full karaoke sfx for the songs, and typeset signs and made sure nothing bled through to another scene, all the sign-language subs timed perfectly to match sae's japanese hardsubbed subtitles fading to match..

But I was aware there were some mistranslations, the subtitles I used were based on old fansubs from JTV/GiftedOnes. I improved them where I could but Im not a translator so i only fixed a few lines that were obviously incorrect. You have to understand that this is the first time we have official English subtitles. The old subs I worked off were from 2008 or so, and it wasn't until I posted this BD release in 2018 that the show was available in HD.

I would want to see a comparison on the script, maybe I can do a V2 with these subs if they are actually better.
