Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho: The Movie - Poltergeist Report (Fullscreen Chinese DVD) [DVD5]

Hong Kong DVD. AFAIK this is the only source of the movie I know of that has the entire fullscreen picture (the Blu-ray is cropped to widescreen as is the R1 DVD.) Aside from possessing a rare version of the movie the DVD itself is trash. The bitrate is way too low and there's artifacts everywhere. The otherwise fine LPCM Japanese audio could have been shrunk with AC3 and more buttrate could have been thrown at the video. Maybe. Not actually sure about the specifics of DVD encoding. There aren't any transcodes of this DVD out there as of this post. It looks way better than the R1 DVD by Cental Park Media and would have come in handy had it been dumped long before they finally put out a Blu-ray edition in Japan. This disc includes Chinese subtitles and a Chinese dub. There are no special features.
