Laugh I still use K-lite codecs, I'm just sticking with the "If it aint broke don't fix it" philosophy. I've never seen a video that I can't run in K-lite. Plus I like the customization subs in MPC. It's nice being able to change those piss yellow subs and funky fonts into standard white. I never did understand why they went with yellow back in the day. I'll never forget "The Slayers" the subs where like unreadable on VHS, I actually had to learn a little Japanese so that I could follow the story.

And I eventually had to download a Fan-sub because a lot of the jokes where lost in translation. Speaking of that, did anyone ever watch Tweeny Witches? holy hell I watched the U.S. version of that and didn't make any sense those where "Dubtitles" like the subs where for the English auto and not the Japanese. I had to grab a fan sub because those subs made no F'ing sense at all. My Nihongo is bad but it's not so bad that I can't tell when the subs aren't what they're saying. I know word puns are hard to translate but that doesn't mean you should completely re-write the script. WTH ever happened to T.L. Notes.
