I'm not sure if this is just me, but the English audio seems to be the poorly mixed version. It sounds muffled, especially compared to the Japanese. Did you use the 5.1 audio from the Blu-Ray or did you use the 2.0 audio? I know that the 2.0 Japanese audio has issues like this so it might have carried over to the English audio. It could just be me though.
