I don't think "Ziiya" is not a name though. I believe they are just referring to the old butler as "old man" in a casual manner, jīya. You must have heard that in other anime.

What? There are so many mistakes though, from made up names to sentence typos, lack of space and even phrases that weren't translated very well. I don't watch netflix, aren't their subtitles supposed to be top quality?

If the issue is with the subs then Netflix is at fault or Erai-raws didn't extract them correctly. If you specify what language you are referring it would help Erai (if they see this post that is) to correct the issue if it's at their end.

The language in question is English. I don't really mind if the subs aren't perfect, most of the time I'm just glad someone subbed the show. I'm just surprised that something as huge as netflix doesn't have a QA to assure nothing gets through.
