They did the TV series i watched it as it was airing

Yeah, https://anidb.net/a6263. Synonym is Munto TV. I deleted the other comment of mine where I thought no TV series was done.

Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai, also called Munto TV, which is a 9 episode TV series in 2009. "Munto" is a 2003 54min. OVA and then there's a 2005 sequel called Munto: Toki no Kabe wo Koete which is an hour long OVA. Apparently there's also a movie called Tenjoubito to Akutobito Saigo no Tatakai in 2009, supposedly a finale to Munto, but I can't tell if that means to the OVA or the TV series. Since both are in 2009, I'd say the TV series.

To whomever may care, that is. Just trying to make sense of it myself, really.
