I just got around to checking and Part 3 are the gibberish subs that have been floating around.

They aren't anywhere remotely close to competent. In the first 3 minutes there are already terrible errors, reading out Al Capone's prisoner number "yon ichi hachi hachi roku" (41886), but the subs say 41196.

As far as I know the only actual subs that exist for part III is the CF&B release, which is official hardsubbed 480p

@LCE thanks for the info. I'll search for other subs, but if the only alternative is hardsubs then I guess we're stuck with this.

Hi - unless something is really buggered on my end, the Island of Assassins file is corrupt. Tried to re-verify about 5 times and it was partially fixed each time, but in the end I had to get it from another source. Do note that I originally found this around 2-3 years ago.

@azgard: i checked using multiple devices and the file downloads and plays fine.

Nobody has started to write down the hardsubs of Part III yet? Perhaps the crappy softsubs could be used as a base for this.

If someone is willing to transcribe them I will add them to the description here.

hello, i downloaded this and most of the stuff was great so far, only Part 5 from episode 11 and up are all corrupt,, already re-downloaded it a couple of times and rechecked it just to be sure. any tips how i could fix em? or could you check why they are corrupt?

ngl this looks really ugly. Not only are all the series Blu-Rays downscaled they are also RE-ENCODED from the already downscaled sources to x265 which creates blocking all over them and makes it unwatchable. I wish Parts 1-3 could get better treatment and proper releases.

The uncompressed versions are out there in the ether if you want to do that. I suggest you do. This collection was an attempt at completion while staying within reasonable size constraints. I understand the grievances but ultimately decided in favor of this.

Can we edit the subtitles in Part II, because the other guys that releases this series can’t edit

Lupin III Series 1 (1971) all have incorrect CRC codes. I thought the torrent was downloaded incorrectly but I forced rechecked all the files and download was 100% complete.
