I've tried with x264 near 1 year ago and got video stream size 13.3 GiB. So release was postponed until I find the way to make it less than 50% of BDMV size. As HEVC getting common video format in our group, I tried it recently and managed to compress that movie into 9.59 GiB without major difference in quality (and now it's probably better, as I've revised the script, making denoiser less aggressive).
