I'm not sure. I've been led to believe that it was 24 episodes for a long time now, and this episode sure seemed like a season finale. It however has a slot reserved on MX for a 25th episode, so we're just gonna have to wait and see I guess.

Most likely a scheduling mistake on the TV stations part. 24 was the intended schedule all along.
