Ajuns înapoi în țară, nu reușește să-și tragă sufletul că este contactat de un nobil rus aflat în exil în Japonia pentru un nou caz. Yugo este nevoit să înfrunte frigul din Regiunea Siberiană a Rusiei și brutalitatea sistemului rus, aflat la câteva decenii după cel de-al Doilea Război Mondial, pentru a putea aduce în Japonia o nepoată de 12 ani a nobilului rus, care ținută captivă.***
