I reencoded from Flac to QAAC in StaxRip: Audio codec ->AAC -> Encoder QAAC -> Mode True VBR -> Quality 110 (Maximum Bitrate Quality 127). You can choose not to encode the video, just select Copy for video and QAAC for audio.

I have one more question: BDMV -> video mkv 1080p -> video mkv 720p = BDMV -> video mkv 720p? ("->" mean encode) So, if are from same source (BDMV), encode = reencode? Or encode > reencode? Encode is better than reencode? [in this case (same source)]

Theoretically true. BDMV -> 1080p or BDMV -> 720p This is Encode. The source is the original (DVD or BD-ray disk).

Reencode: Any source (already encoded) -> in another resolution or size. That is, reencode is the 2nd encoding (from the original -> encoding -> and then reencode).

Usually reencoding is inferior to conventional encoding (BDMV -> 720p) in quality, but I try to use the best 1080p releases and reencode them with the best codec settings to keep the maximum quality. By the way, about the quality. Conventional encoding does not always mean maximum quality. It all depends on the encoding settings.

BDMV -> FLAC -> MP3 = BDMV -> MP3? BDMV = Lossless FLAC = Lossless BDMV = FLAC

@Kirion I downloaded StaxRip, but I don't know how to use it, It's an folder with some archieves who I don't know what them are the one I have to open, If you can, help me out with that, And, it's uses Visual Studio as base to process? How much complicated it can be? Seems so much complicated... Any tutorial about it?

  1. Unpack the archive (WinRar)
  2. Install AviSynthPlus
  3. In the StaxRip program, configure the save paths Option-> Paths

Remove all checkboxes from AVS filters except Source (LWLibavVideoSource) image

Click Copy/Mux image

Click MP4 or MKV image

Audio -> Edit image

There is a codec setting image

Choose the default audio language \ Channels -> 2\5.1\original image

Setup is complete, you need to save the project image

(V) Load template on startup -> Ok image
