I simply posted based on one of the comments in their website:
I suspect the subbing got delayed, so they attempted to catch up to their tight schedule by encoding at a lower compression than usual. (lower compression = less computation = faster encode)
From here I get that they encoded from CR, so a rework on their release should naturally be re-encode - or re-reencode or whatever. In any case, you guys know what I mean. Stop looking for a needle in the haystack.
Also, if I wanted 1080p, I'd simply download roger's reencode or rerip or whatever on HS's stuff.

So you guys are really not going to reencode the 720p of both Grand Blue ep5 and Happy Sugar Life ep5? Those files are ridiculously large.
