Hayama Hibiki, a boy soprano, will be holding a solo recital in Berlin, Germany shortly. He is rushed to the hospital due to pain from inflammation and suppuration of his neck. His condition requires surgery, but his father refuses it because of his upcoming performance and the risk of him not being able to sing high notes again. Will Dr. Shindo be able to convince his father? Meanwhile, Dr. Takayama wants to transfer Dr. Shindo to the diagnostic imaging department.
