Although the original subber shouldn't have made the mistake, if you were affected by it, your video player is out of date. MPC-HC, mpv, and even VLC have no problem using
for a line break.

@benis: I am using MPC 1.7.13.112 with the latest codecs and still saw the
problem.
I'll be 100% honest, I've only seen screenshots of the subs working fine on MPC and VLC. I can 100% guarantee they work fine in mpv though.
