Yay, thank you!

thanks a lot!!

hello i’ve downloaded this and play using VLC but can’t seem to get the subtitles to work. Says in the description above that there are subtitles? how did you guys get this to work?

hi Ledob please upload one that has subs.. i watched all the other ones with hardsubbed but this last one didn't have any:(

Hi arvboy, sorry to hear that, but of course the file has subs. I've tested the file with VLC (3.0.1), mpv (build 20180429), Plex, all good. And I double checked it just now to make sure the file is OK.

The sub is flagged as default track so it should be displayed without doing anything. Make sure that the sub track is selected in the subtitle menu of your player.

The subs don't work for me either. I even tried to reset all the vlc settings. nothing helps.

It's strange. The subs work for this file: Terrace House - Opening New Doors - s02e07.Week 15.mkv But not for this one: Terrace.House.Opening.New.Doors.S02E08.Week16.720p.mkv

Weird :o Can you see a sub track in the top bar menu > subtitle in VLC ? Which version of VLC and Operating System do you use?

Yes. It says "Titel 1 – (English)"

VLC Version: Version 2.2.6 Umbrella (Intel 64bit)

OS: macOS High Sierra version 10.13.4

Should be the newest.. weird indeed!

I don't have a Mac so I cannot test sorry... Please try to either update VLC to version 3.0.x, or try with another player like mpv. I can send you the .ass subtitle file if you want

Thanks LeDob it works now! I updated to Version 2.2.8 Weatherwax (Intel 64bit) (Which didnt' exist two weeks ago) and now it works :)

Keep up the good work!!
