The opening lyrics have been translated by Bluesun. Ending from Saizen's Captain Tsubasa release. I translated from french subs, and did a qc run. Puto did a quick edit. Oh by the way, extract the subtitles and you'll have a good laugh at times, because I did some good 'ol homoerotic troll subs here and there in comments that you'll find inside brackets. The subtitles displayed are however seriously done.
As for the project, I'M RECRUITING as I'm not sure if I'll sub this every week due to personal life and motivation. My hope is that Viz Media simulcasts this in english. IF you are good in both French and English or Chinese and English (as there's a simculast of Captain Tsubasa in Chinese) and would like to help, please leave a message here with contact information because I'd love to work together with you. I'd have to spend less time doing this, and we could get faster releases out with decent quality.

how do you extract subtitles
I just open the subtitles from mkv's using aegisub (the program I use to make me subtitles). But you can also use this method:

hopefully Saizen will pick this up as they've subbed the other Captain Tsubasa series.
